We market ourselves in the Denver, Colorado area as a “drone” service, which is only partly true. We do so because I guess you must call yourself something. We use drones as a tool, very successfully might I add, to achieve the results we want but don’t necessarily consider the drone to be the center of what we do.

We are visual storytellers and embrace this as the core of our services to our clients. Drones provide a unique opportunity, propelling the camera to areas that were unattainable until recently. Back in the day, the only way to achieve great aerial images was to spend thousands of dollars using rotary or fixed-wing aircraft; even those had significant limitations.

Drones provide a vertical element to pictures and moving video that help establish an almost existential perspective, images high in the sky using a stable platform, existing above the “fray” of the environment and surrounding distractions. We can show you things you ordinarily would not be able to view in a way that respects the narrative of a story.

The folks that we have working for Aerial Platforms … Inspired are just that; “Inspired.” They are individuals that are dedicated to the craft of navigating a flying platform, pressing the “start” button at just the right time, and able to view things from unique perspectives. We have “high hour” pilots – those that flew airplanes and helicopters in a previous life, and experienced video producers that understand the flow and “true religion” of visual storytelling.
